ART WITH NATURE IN MIND
Painted Cactus Studio creates a wide range of artwork from contemporary to traditional. The studio explores different mediums, styles, techniques, and is always experimenting to create amazing art and crafts.
Painted Cactus Studio is Deborah Lindsey’s art venue. Deborah considers herself to be a contemporary realist, with nature always in mind. She paints in oil, acrylic, watercolor and loves making whimsical woodcrafts. Using these skills, she has designed tattoo art as well as home decor. Deborah has recently started to make beaded Native American masks as a new adventure in her artwork. Deborah's work varies in size and creation from Native American Kachinas, spiritual shamans, colorful desert cactus, small watercolors of various subject matter and her Woodland Royal series. She enjoys adding a unique perspective to her work in order to make each piece memorable.
With every painting, drawing, beaded mask, or whimsical woodcrafting piece, Deborah hopes the viewer will feel the passion she has for her artwork and the subject matter. She wants the viewer to feel the spirit of the kachinas, whether in a painting or a beaded mask, the beautiful color of the desert cactus and the amazing sunrises or sunsets, to share in her experiences, to provoke curiosity, and feel the emotion of the artwork. If her viewers do, then she feels she has been successful.
